Arranged by the ecumenical group 'Churches Together', these "cafe-style" acts of contemporary worship are held on the first Saturday of each month over coffee and croissants. It is a relaxed and informal gathering lasting about one hour, at which people of all ages engage in lively discussion about Christian faith issues in today's world. Do come along and bring your family, friends and neighbours!

Effingham 'Churches Together' is holding another prayer walk around part of the village, starting at St Lawrence church. Everyone is most welcome to join this quiet walk lasting no more than an hour.

Don't miss our annual Pancake Party! This is a social occasion for everyone. Donations for the pancakes are invited, and there will be a raffle in aid of both churches.

This is the first of three Lent Lunches held to support a local charity. A frugal but enjoyable meal of bread, cheese and fruit will be served with tea or coffee.
